1、 What does refrigeration equipment include

Refrigeration equipment is a device that combines a refrigeration machine with facilities that use cooling capacity. The design and construction of refrigeration systems is aimed at effectively utilizing refrigeration capacity to refrigerate food or other items. It mainly consists of a compressor, expansion valve, evaporator, condenser, accessories, and pipelines. According to their working principles, they can be divided into compression refrigeration equipment, absorption refrigeration equipment, steam jet refrigeration equipment, heat pump refrigeration equipment, and electric heating refrigeration devices. It can be used in multiple application fields such as refrigerators, cold storage, refrigerated trucks, etc. Generally, refrigeration equipment has very low radiation and does not pose any harm to the human body.

2、 Working principle and composition of refrigeration equipment

1. Compressor: The compressor is the core component of the entire refrigeration system and also the power source for refrigerant compression. Its function is to convert electrical energy input into mechanical energy, suck in, compress, and transport refrigerant vapor, thereby driving the cycle.

2. Condenser: During the refrigeration process, the condenser plays a role in outputting thermal energy and condensing refrigerant. After the high-pressure superheated steam discharged from the refrigeration compressor enters the condenser, all the heat absorbed during the working process is transferred to the surrounding medium (water or air), including the heat absorbed from the evaporator, refrigeration compressor, and pipeline. The refrigerant condenses into liquid again under high pressure.

3. Dry filter: It is necessary to prevent water and dirt from entering the refrigeration cycle. Water mainly comes from a small amount of water contained in newly added refrigerants and lubricating oils, or from air entering during system maintenance. If the water in the system is not cleared, when the refrigerant passes through the throttle valve (thermal expansion valve or capillary tube), due to the decrease in pressure and temperature, the water may sometimes solidify into ice, blocking the channel and affecting the normal operation of the refrigeration equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to install a dry filter in the refrigeration system.

4. Throttle valve: A thermal expansion valve (or capillary tube) is installed in the refrigeration equipment between the drying filter and the evaporator, and the thermal expansion valve is wrapped around the outlet of the evaporator. Its main function is to throttle the high-pressure room temperature refrigerant liquid and reduce its pressure as it flows through the thermal expansion valve, converting it into low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant wet vapor (mostly liquid, with a small portion of vapor) that enters the evaporator, evaporates and absorbs the heat in the evaporator, achieving the purpose of cooling and cooling.

5. Evaporator: An evaporator is a heat exchanger that relies on the evaporation (actual boiling) of refrigerant liquid to absorb heat from the cooling medium. Its function in the cooling system is to absorb heat. To ensure a stable and long-lasting evaporation process, it is necessary to continuously pump the evaporating gas through a refrigeration compressor to maintain a certain evaporation pressure.

6. Refrigerant: Most industrial coolers used in modern industry use R22 or R407C as refrigerants. Refrigerant is the flowing working medium in refrigeration systems. Its main function is to carry heat and achieve heat absorption and release when the state changes, which can also be seen in daily life fields such as insecticides and refrigerators.
